Monthly Feature

Wine Vault Events & Tastings Schedule

Each week we offer tasting flights that are available at any time, 10am-6pm on Mondays, 11am-8pm, Tuesdays-Fridays and Saturday's by appointment. You can purchase the entire flight, usually 3 to 6 wines, in a 2 oz pour, which is great to share with a friend, or you may taste any of the individual wines in a 2 or 4 oz pour.

We frequently have free tastings, too, in partnership with different wineries. And we offer Wine Dinners once a month. These dinners are usually centered on a region or varietal. Each dinner we taste 10 or more wines paired with a custom wine dinner prepared lovingly by Ken and Gigi. A fun night for all; bring old friends, meet new ones. The dinners start at 7pm and go until 10pm and reservations are required.

Warm Weather Whites

Now that the weather is finally warmer in South San Francisco, we thought it would be time to roll out some unique white wines before the fog comes rolling back in.  The Chaleur Estate is oak aged and rich, a blend of Sauvigon Blanc and Semillon.  The Vieux Télégraph Blanc is Marsanne and Roussane, old vines from the Rhone.  The Et Fille is a Viognier with great minerality and a beautiful long finish.  All make for a great way to finish out the summer.

2008 Chaleur Estate – DeLille Cellars

2007 Vieux Télégraphe – Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc

2007 Et Fille ViognierDeux Verz Vineyard, Yamhill-Carlton

2006 Napa Cabernets

A stellar lineup of some of the best wines that Cabernet has to offer from three distinct growing areas.  The Groth is big, chewy and long.  The Round Pond is smoother with fine tannins and red fruits.  The Cliff Lede is rich with black fruit and supple mouth coating flavors of mocha and sweet oak.

2006 Groth - Oakville
2006 Round Pond - Rutherford

2006 Cliff Lede – Stags Leap District

~  Taste all three - $30  ~

New Arrival Pinot Noir

Three great new Pinots from three different areas.  The Tantara Rio Vista is big and bold. Sharecropper  is a super affordable Oregon Pinot, their best effort in a few years.  Chronicle (not to be confused with the newspaper) is one of the most unique single vineyard Pinots out of the Sonoma Coast we have ever tasted.  Superb!

2007 Tantara Rio Vista – Santa Rita Hills

2009 Owen Roe Sharecroppers – Oregon

2007 Chronicle – Sonoma Coast

~  Taste all three for only - $20  ~
